SLEEP-IN CARE SOUGHT – Saturday Nights, Sandown Area

I'm looking for a female carer/PA to cover sleep in hours 10pm-7am (or similar) on Saturday nights for my 87 year old mum. She has mild undiagnosed dementia but is mostly ok and still lives on her own. She uses a crutch to get around the house.

The job will involve making sure she gets to bed safely (on stairlift), then helping her to the toilet 1-3 times a night plus sometimes assisting with changing incontinence pads etc.

Then at sometime between 6 and 7am, assisting with shower, getting dressed, putting on hairpiece and starting her off having her breakfast plus putting her daily tablet dispenser on the breakfast table for her to take her tablets with breakfast. You should then be able to leave her to get on with things herself.

Hourly rate – Pay rate will be £105 per Saturday night shift which will be paid weekly by bank transfer.
