Personal Assistant Required
Hours: 4 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £16.47 per hour
Driving Licence Essential

A friendly and compassionate Personal Assistant (PA) is required to support a married couple living with disabilities to maintain their home, wellbeing and independence.

This rewarding role involves working alongside an individual to help manage day-to-day tasks, while promoting independence and confidence. The successful applicant will be someone who is patient, understanding and able to adapt their support to meet changing needs.

About the Person
The individual enjoys keeping up with local and national news, gardening, sewing and spending time with their friendly, energetic spaniel. Gardening is a particularly important hobby, providing enjoyment, relaxation and a sense of achievement through growing food from seed and sharing it with others.

Main Duties
Support with paperwork, forms, post and correspondence
Assistance with phone calls and appointments
Help managing finances and benefits-related tasks
Household cleaning, particularly maintaining key areas of the home
Support with shopping and meal planning/preparation
Encouragement and practical support with personal wellbeing routines
Assistance to access the local community and meaningful activities
Providing support during periods when physical or mental health needs make daily tasks more difficult

The Ideal PA Will:
Be friendly, reliable and organised
Have a caring and supportive approach
Be confident assisting with administrative tasks and phone calls
Be comfortable working in a home environment
Enjoy supporting people to remain as independent as possible
Be happy around a lively, friendly dog
