Personal Assistant Required – Sandown (7 hours per week) (26097) LKM

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a 33 year old lady living in Sandown.
This role focuses on supporting the individual to access the local community, build independence, and maintain and develop social connections.

The position offers 7 hours per week at £12.82 per hour.

The individual is friendly and sociable, with a range of interests including music, dancing, clothes shopping, gaming (Nintendo Switch and Xbox), and watching television. They also enjoy spending time with family, pets, and friends, and currently attend structured activities such as day services and volunteering.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting access to community activities such as shopping, leisure opportunities, and social groups
Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests
Promoting independence, confidence, and social engagement
Supporting the development and maintenance of friendships
Ensuring safety and wellbeing while out in the community

Experience working with individuals with a learning disability is desirable but not essential

A driving licence is not required.
There are cats in the home, and the household is non-smoking.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about supporting others to lead fulfilling and active lives, and who can provide person-centred, respectful support.
