Personal Assistant Required – Newport (Ref: SM 326236)

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Personal Assistant to support a friendly 72-year-old lady in Newport for 3 hours per week.

This lady lives independently in her ground floor flat and enjoys maintaining an active role in her daily life. She has a positive outlook and values working alongside those who support her, enabling her to remain as independent as possible. With assistance, she continues to enjoy meal preparation, accessing the local community, and taking part in hobbies that are important to her.

About the role:

Supporting community access and social outings
Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities
Providing companionship and practical support as required

About the client:

Lives alone with support from nearby family members
Has left-sided weakness
Uses a wheelchair to move around her home and garden independently
Requires assistance pushing her wheelchair when out in the community

Essential/Desirable Requirements:

Reliable, caring, and supportive approach
Driver preferred, as community access is an important part of the role
Non-smoker
