Are you friendly, reliable and enjoy supporting people to get the most out of life?

We are looking for two enthusiastic Personal Assistants to support a gentleman with a learning disability and associated health conditions to continue living independently and enjoying the activities he loves.

He lives in his own flat within a secure residential setting in Colwell and enjoys a full and active life. Having lived there for around two years, he is settled, happy and very much enjoys being part of his local community.

Following the retirement of his long-term Personal Assistant, who has provided support for over seven years, we are seeking two new Personal Assistants to join him on the next chapter of his journey. His current PA will remain involved during the transition period to help ensure a smooth and positive handover.

He is looking for supportive, encouraging people who can help him stay connected to the things he enjoys while promoting his independence, confidence and wellbeing.

Personal Assistant
5 hours per week
You will support with:

Organising and attending appointments
Managing paperwork and correspondence
Weekly shopping and meal planning
Accessing community activities and local services
Maintaining friendships and social connections
Encouraging independence and making choices

This role would suit someone who is organised, patient, positive and enjoys helping others achieve their goals.

Male Personal Assistant
2 hours per week
You will support with:

Attending the gym
Taking part in physical activities
Encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle
Building confidence and motivation around exercise and wellbeing

This role would suit someone who enjoys keeping active and can provide encouragement in a fun and supportive way.
