About me
I am a 35-year-old man who has been diagnosed with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and OCD traits. I receive daily support from my dedicated PA team who keep me safe when accessing the community and participating in activities I enjoy such as, swimming, going to the pub, football, music and some video games. My PA team have been supporting me to go on the mainland to places like Bournemouth, and access different parts of the island to ensure I am engaging in something fulfilling and meaningful. I am close to my family who have a great insight into my care, and it is important to me that I can feel safe and trust the support provided.

Support required
As part of supporting me into the community via a 2:1, I need support with all aspects of my life. This includes maintain my home environment, managing my nutritional needs like cooking and supporting healthier food options, elements of personal hygiene, community access, maintain positive relationship and keeping me safe at home and in the community. Driver license required.

Additional information
I need a Male Only support team due to obsessions with women and potential risks or overstepping boundaries with talking with them. I need staff who have strong boundaries and who can make me feel safe and protected when interacting with females. I need constant reminders about what is appropriate to ask and reminders about what not to do for example; giving a hug without their consent. I struggle to understand some social interactions with others so I need my support staff to be able to speak on my behalf if they notice I am becoming over-stimulated or displaying heightened anxieties.
