PA required to join a team of PAs in Gurnard (Ref: SM 268314)

A Personal Assistant is required to join an existing team of 3 PAs supporting a gentleman living in Gurnard. The care package provides 42 hours of support per week, and we are looking for an additional PA to help cover some of the available hours, ideally during the early evenings.
Duties will include:

Preparing a meal and washing up
Supporting with organising and diarising appointments
Occasionally accompanying him to the local beach for some fresh air and relaxation
Supporting access to appointments and the local community, including shopping

This gentleman experiences high levels of anxiety and has a number of physical health conditions relating to diabetes. The successful PA will need to:

Have a good understanding of mental health
Be reliable, patient and consistent
Be able to provide occasional annual leave cover for other team members

Rate of pay: £16.47 per hour
Location: Gurnard
Driving licence: Desirable
