PA required in Newport for gentleman in his 60s – 10 hours per week (Ref: SM 339019)

Flexible PA support required for a friendly and independent gentleman in his 60s living in his own home in Newport. He is looking for a reliable and supportive Personal Assistant to help him maintain his independence and quality of life.
He has a strong passion for music, particularly record collecting and attending live events, and would enjoy building a positive working relationship with someone who shares similar interests.
Due to deteriorating vision and some hearing loss, he requires support with certain daily tasks. However, he remains independent in many areas of his life and is looking for someone who can work alongside him while respecting his independence and choices.
Duties will include:
• Supporting with food shopping and meal preparation
• Helping maintain a safe, clean and organised home environment
• Assisting with accessing the community, including attending appointments and social activities
• Providing support with correspondence and paperwork where required
Hours: 10 hours per week (flexible across the week)
Rate of pay: £16.47 per hour
Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
