PA Required for Gentleman in East Cowes – 5 hours per week – 183801 CD

About Me:

I am 53 years old and live in my parents' home, where I have lived for many years. I feel safe, comfortable and settled there and would like to continue living at home for as long as possible.

I am a non-smoker and would prefer to be support be a non-smoker. Male and female applicants will be considered. I prefer a PA who is a car driver and with access to a vehicle. There are no pets in the home.

I enjoy music, having a mixed taste listening to a variety of music from 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. I also enjoy watching films and particularly enjoys Marvel films and going to the cinema.

Maintaining my independence is very important to me. I want to continue doing as much as possible for myself, including choosing and preparing my own meals, helping with household tasks, attending appointments and managing my personal care. I value having choice and control over my daily life, keeping to my routines and being encouraged to remain as independent as possible.

I enjoy being active in my local community and having opportunities to socialise. I like shopping, going out for lunch, visiting the cinema, spending time at places such as Busy Bee and Quarr Abbey, walking along the seafront. I take pride in looking after my teeth and enjoy choosing my own food.

Being able to access the community regularly is important to my wellbeing, and I would like support that helps me continue these activities and further rebuild my confidence following my heart surgery.

My overall goal is to continue living safely and happily at home, maintain my independence, stay active within my community, manage my health effectively and remain connected to the people who are important to me.

Support required:
I need support a few hours a week to access the community and to help me clean and maintain my home in East Cowes. This will be for up to 5 hours per week @ £12.82.

I have a diagnosed Learning Disability and other health conditions, so you need to be mindful of these.
