Advert on behalf of my 82 year old stepfather.
He's about to be discharged from hospital following a fall and needs daily visits to make sure he is looking after himself. The care department are satisfied he doesn't need actual care but he needs somebody to make sure medication has been taken and he is eating. Tidiness is an issue so there is a requirement to gather clothes together (and wash and hang out once or twice a week), empty commode, wash up and other general chores contributing to an orderly environment.
Mum is also in hospital and will be going on to temporary residential care and will have separate carers when she returns home.
