Male Personal Assistant (PA) Required Various Hours – Ventnor (84132) LKM

We are looking for a reliable and supportive male Personal Assistant to help a 37-year-old gentleman live independently in his own home in Ventnor. Due to the complexity of his support needs, this role is open to male applicants only.

I like walks to the beach, going to cinema, library, visit ability dogs, watching films, computers

This is a flexible position, primarily to cover annual leave and additional support, with a variety of shifts available throughout the week, including sleep-ins and opportunities for overtime.

About the Individual

He is a friendly, outgoing individual with a great sense of humour and a wide range of interests. He enjoys:

Swimming
Walks around Ventnor
Days out to Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill
Films (with an impressive knowledge of actors and genres)
Theatre visits
Attending Intune on Fridays

He values companionship and support that helps him stay engaged, active, and confident in his daily life.

Support Required
Your role will include:

Assisting with general household tasks
Supporting access to the community and meaningful activities
Prompting and encouragement with personal care
Laundry, food shopping, and meal preparation
Helping him remain safe and settled within his home environment

About the Role

Hourly rate: £16.47
Sleep-ins: £70 per night

He has diagnoses of Bipolar Disorder, Autism, and a Learning Disability. At times, he may experience anxiety and benefits greatly from calm, consistent, and reassuring support.
