A Personal Assistant is required to support a 55-year-old gentleman living with Parkinson’s disease and the long-term effects of two previous strokes.
The role focuses on promoting independence, supporting wellbeing, and providing companionship within the community, offering reassurance where needed.

About the Role
The gentleman experiences difficulties with mobility, coordination, stamina, and cognition. He uses a walker within his home and requires support when accessing the community. His needs can fluctuate from day to day, so flexibility, patience, and a calm approach are essential.

Duties May Include:

Accompanying and attending appointments
Providing companionship and social interaction
Playing games and engaging in enjoyable activities
Supporting community access and outings
Going for drives and helping reduce social isolation
Promoting mental health and emotional wellbeing
Encouraging independence while ensuring safety
Providing reassurance and support when required

5 hours @ £15.99 per hour

A driver with access to a vehicle would be advantageous
No pets or smokers in the property
