7 hours PA support required – Calbourne

7 HOUR WEEKEND HELP NEEDED FOR 70 YEAR OLD GENTLEMAN IN CALBOURNE

We are looking for a reliable, warm, and respectful Personal Assistant (PA) to join our team and support a near 70 year old gentleman at their home that would span approximately 7 hours every Saturday.

The goal of this role is to help maintain independence, dignity, and a good quality of life in a comfortable, familiar home environment.

The key responsibilities are meals and hydration, medication prompts when needed, and light housekeeping.

The ideal person would be someone that could help him with his outdoor hobbies and projects such as potter around in the garden with his gardening jobs and allotment, and to help with the upkeep of his beloved chickens and large African goose..ideally for someone who could say "boo to a goose" and is not afraid to get their hands dirty.

We would prefer a male to join the team as there are 3 females already, and the gentleman would greatly benefit from this, he used to very much enjoy his "man chats" with previous male PA's.

The ideal person would be kind, patient, trustworthy, and respectful of personal boundaries.

It is essential that the candidate is a non-smoker as the gentleman has recently given up smoking due to strong advice given by health practitioners.

A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide two reliable references is a must.
