Supportive PA Opportunity – Ryde Area (289549) LKM

A gentleman in his 50's is currently residing in a hotel in Ryde is seeking two compassionate and reliable Personal Assistants to provide daily support for 2 hours each day. This rewarding role involves helping him maintain his wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Living Support: Gentle prompts and assistance with personal hygiene and laundry to help manage unintentional self-neglect.
Health Management: Support with diabetes care, including reminders to take insulin and maintain a healthy routine.
Alcohol Recovery Support: Encouragement and reminders to attend appointments and follow strategies that support abstinence.
Probation Compliance: Accompaniment and support for weekly probation meetings, including drug and alcohol testing as part of license requirements.
Behavioural Support: Occasional challenging behaviours may arise; patience and a calm, understanding approach are essential.
