Regular Weekly Visit

Regular personal assistant / companion for a weekly visit for a friendly engaging fit 93 year old woman living independently with family support.

Being hard of hearing leads to isolation through choice, and so an ability to understand and be sympathetic to her lifestyle choices is essential.

It is hard to define a specific role, so starting with light housework and support, with the aim to expand to sometimes preparing/cooking a light lunch. Experienced housekeeper, keen gardener, and Scrabble player preferred. This role supplements existing family care, and so once a rapport is established the role might lead to additional days, and holiday cover.

Hourly rate – £17.50 per hour
