Personal Assistant

I am looking for an extra PA to help look after my husband, aged 92. He has mild vascular dementia and heart failure, can get about indoors using a walking aid, but still rather unsteady. Going out he needs to use a wheelchair. However, he is a cheerful and friendly person. As a retired coach driver, he was more used to caring for others and finds it difficult now to be on the receiving end. I am able to offer 5 hours a week, and this can be split between, say, two days ,on Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Saturday afternoon from 2pm, or a Sunday morning from 10 - 1pm.
Al quite enjoys doing jigsaws, draughts and dominoes, but often he just wants to rest with a cup of tea. Generally, he just likes companionship and chats, or to go out in the car for a drive or to a cafe, where he will treat you to a coffee.

Hourly rate – £15.99 per hour, to include mileage to and from my home
