PA required to support 78yo gentleman in Totland 6hrs per week (SM 97040)

6 hours support for a 78 year old gentleman who lives in a care home in Totland. He has a cognitive impairment and is new to the area and would like support to access the local community, and to potentially attend the local Bowls club.
This person is an amputee (left leg) and is a full-time wheelchair user. He is chatty and has wonderful stories he likes to share about his life and experiences so far.
PA to support with;
- Going out for a coffee at the café on the sea front
- To go to the local bowls club which is located near by if this is accessible
- Spend time with someone who I can talk to and have a conversation with
- After time and building trust go on the bus to visit other parts of the island
Hours per week – 6 to be in one block or split (hours to be reviewed once in place)
Hourly rate – £15.99
