Support Required
Breakdown of Hours:
8 hours per week, flexible across the week to support community access and engagement in activities.
Tasks Include:
• Supporting access to the community
• Emotional reassurance and companionship
• Engagement in meaningful activities (e.g., dancing, games)
• Monitoring and managing behaviours linked to dementia
• Oversight of wellbeing and safety

Rate of Pay:
£15.99 per hour (complex care rate)

Additional Details:
• No animals in the home
• Driving licence required
• No smokers in the home
• PA must have experience in dementia care and managing complex behaviours

Additional Information
I have a diagnosis of vascular dementia, depression, and a history of hallucinations and suicidal ideation. I can display verbal aggression and distress, including racially inappropriate comments, and require a PA who is confident, compassionate, and trained in managing challenging behaviours.
