Support Needed: Daytime PA Sit‑In Service
A full‑time carer is seeking reliable PA support for an adult who requires continuous supervision and assistance with daily living. The individual needs help with personal care prompts, maintaining hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, safe eating habits, and remaining safe within the home. They also require support with managing continence needs, avoiding risks, and preventing wandering from the property.
Due to significant memory difficulties, reduced understanding of household tasks, and limited ability to complete domestic activities independently, the person cannot be left alone. Ongoing support is essential to maintain safety, wellbeing, and dignity.
Support required:

Sit‑in PA service

08:00–17:30, three days per week
09:00–16:00, Saturdays
To provide supervision, reassurance, and assistance while the main carer is at work or managing household responsibilities.

One day per week attendance at a community café, funded, to encourage social engagement and meaningful activity.

This support is vital to enable the primary carer to return to work, prevent carer burnout, and maintain stability within the home. A carer’s assessment has confirmed that the current caring demands are no longer sustainable without additional help.
