PA Required for Gentleman in Sandown – CD 89231

Initially 5 hours per week with scope to extend to 8 hours per week. £14.14 per hour. To support a gentleman in his home in Lake.

About me/ Support required: I am a 72-year-old gentleman with a mild Learning Disability and Parkinson’s Disease. I live in a flat at Porter Court in Lake where I receive support from 2 lovely PA’s and a care team from Acorn Care. Unfortunately, one of my PA’s is leaving me after several years, as such, I need a replacement so I can continue receiving support to meet my needs. I need help with my personal care in the mornings, ensuring my home is clean and tidy, and support to access the community for a couple of hours each week. Occasionally, I have health appointments I need to attend, so you may need to support me to those too.

I have a good sense of humour and enjoy socialising with others, coffee mornings, Keep Fit classes, quizzes, and movie nights. I would like an upbeat and positive individual to support me. I would require the applicant to have a car to help get around the community and appointments. I do not smoke and have no pets.
