PA Required for Gentleman in Sandown – 6 hours – 86400 CD

6 hours of PA support @ £12.31 per hour. To work with an individual in Sandown to support him to evening activities in his local community.

About Me: I am a 38-year-old gentleman with a diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome and Learning Disabilities, and significant issues with my mobility; however, I am in the process of improving this using my walking aids. I use a wheelchair if it’s required to go a longer distance. I can make my needs known but when talking to me, provide me all the information in a clear manner so I can make my own choices and decisions.

Support required: I would like a PA for 6 hours a week to help me attend evening events and activities such as Yu-Gi-Oh events and social evenings at Slug ‘n’ Lettuce, or the cinema. I need support to attend these activities due to my limited mobility skills but also to reinforce boundaries and appropriate behaviour. I am very sociable and like to talk to most people which can also put me in vulnerable situations, so I need a PA which can be mindful of this.

Additional Information: I ideally would like someone who is of similar age to me and with similar interests where possible.
