PA required for 8hrs per week in Newport (SM 21695)

PA required for 8 hours per week for 44yo lady in Newport.

7 hours of ‘non-personal’ PA support at a rate of £11.95
1 hour of ‘personal’ PA support at a rate of £13.86
= £97.51 PER WEEK

Ideally this lady would like a PA to support her on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1pm-5pm.

PA duties will be;

Supporting this lady to maintain her home environment and managing paperwork. She would like to be supported with tasks around the home.

Support to go shopping and batch cook meals. She lacks confidence to go shopping alone and struggles to cook meals due to her physical and mental health. She wishes to be encouraged to batch cook so that she has meals prepared for the week.

Support to wash and dry hair.

Support with accessing the community. This lady recognises that support being provided by a PA will in turn have a positive impact on her feeling more able to socialise and undertake activities; as her pain levels may reduce and she will be less tired.

Support to collect prescriptions and attend appointments within the community when required.

It would be beneficial for the PA to have experience in supporting people with mental health. Drivers licence required to support with accessing the community. No pets in the home. Smokers in the home.
