PA required for 3 hours a week- Brading- @ £12.31ph 50011 CD
PA required for a lady living in Brading for 3 hours a week- preferably Mon, Weds, Friday.
This lady is currently managing a range of needs relating to her mental health, parenting responsibilities, and household management. She is prescribed Quetiapine, Sertraline, and Omeprazole, and generally manages her medication well, though she may require prompting on days when her mental health is low. She has limited informal support and relies on professional services, including Children’s Services and mental health support. She has expressed a need for practical and emotional support to help her maintain a safe, stable home environment and manage daily tasks, especially during periods of low motivation or anxiety. Advice includes:
- Continuing engagement with mental health services for medication management and emotional support.
- Accessing parenting support to help with routines, boundaries, and confidence.
- Using tools like planners, reminders, or checklists to support daily living.
- Maintaining regular contact with Children’s Services to stay informed and involved in the reunification process.
To prevent this ladies needs from escalating or becoming more complex in the future, early and consistent support is essential. This includes:
- Maintaining regular mental health reviews to monitor medication effectiveness and emotional wellbeing.
- Building a sustainable support network, even if professional, to reduce isolation and provide consistent encouragement.
- Encouraging her to engage in community-based services, such as parenting groups or wellbeing activities, to build confidence and resilience.
- Providing consistent, trauma-informed support to help her manage stress and avoid crisis situations.
- Supporting in developing independent living skills, including budgeting, meal planning, and home maintenance, to reduce reliance on services over time.
By addressing these areas proactively, she can continue to build stability for herself and her children, supporting long-term wellbeing and successful reunification.
