Urgent PA required for Lady in Freshwater – 20 Hours per week – 400153 CD

Looking for a female PA to come and support 28-year lady who has learning and physical disability in Freshwater.

Young lady lives with her mum, they are a team, and they are very close. PA must have an excellent sense of humour – as she is very happy and chatty. Need to be able to drive an automatic car which is provided. Need to be fit and strong enough to help lift and move a wheelchair/walking frame and to be willing to assist her in the water/changing rooms when she is hydro - swimming which is twice a week. Assistance with personal care is required daily to get showered and dressed. Need to have some knowledge of epilepsy – this is well controlled by medication. Bit of support needed with letters and appointments.
Hopefully, you will enjoy watching Disney films and going to the cinema as well as a scrabble club. Being easy going and calm is important and to be dependable.

20 hours a week (Mon 10-3) 11-4 on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. One hour per day at £13.45 per hour (personal care) 4 hours @ £12.50 per hour.
