Support with Paperwork and Domestic for Gentleman (224226) LKM

A 35 - year- old gentleman. with a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Childhood disinhibited attachment disorder.
The gentleman lives in a studio basement flat in Ventnor by himself. The gentleman can be intense in his communication style and tends to shout when speaking and is unable to communicate his concerns in an appropriate manner and can often divert his conversation. Time is needed to build trust with individuals who work with him.
Support is required around shopping, however the gentleman is anxious with going shopping on his own as fears being attacked. There are hoarding tendencies and lots of things in the flat and he is reluctant to remove items, support from a PA will be required to manage this

PAs to enable the gentleman to be supported with paperwork, domestic tasks and with shopping and general wellbeing. This will hopefully help with his frustrations as he will have someone to talk to regularly and it will stop him from calling emergency and other services all the time, which is causing issues.

2 PAs required to be paid at the complex care rate as the gentleman can be very intense in his communication and this can be very overwhelming for one person alone.

2 x PA support – 5 hrs a week - flexible
£15.99 per hour
