Personal assistant Freshwater 12 hours per week 16.95

Part time personal assistant required to assist a 74 year old gentleman with an acquired brain injury to ensure our client leads an active, fulfilling and enriched lifestyle. As part of our role, you will enable and support our client with all kinds of activities including support going to church on Sunday in the Freshwater area and to enjoy island life, from walks along the coast to sourcing and attending local groups such as coffee clubs and chess groups. Trips to the mainland may also be required.
You may on occasions be requires to assist with personal care such as toileting and encouraging out client to shower and change clothes. Occasional meal preparation may also be required.

We are looking to appoint a positive, committed, and forward-thinking personal assistant with experience of working with clients with brain injury to assist us in this goal. You will work closely with others concerned in the client’s health and welfare.
Previous experience of working with clients with a traumatic brain injury is essential.
This role necessitates the need to hold a full clean driving license.
This post will be subject to Disclosure and Barring service (DBS) check.
You will also be asked to provide two references.
The undertaking of annual mandatory training will be required
