This 70-year-old gentleman in Sandown requires PAs to join his existing team of PAs. He has a diagnosis of Parkinson. He is also receiving care from a care agency alongside PAs. Additional PAs are required urgently.

The main duties in this role are;

• Support with breakfast, meal prep for lunch and dinner.
• Applying cream
• Help with showering, drying and dressing
• Check medication has been taken
• Domestic tasks (cleaning, washing up and laundry)

Hours required;
Saturdays: 2.5 hours, 8:30 - 11:00 (PA to start between 8-9AM)
Sunday: , 2.5 hours, 8:30 - 11:00 (PA to start between 8-9AM)

£16 per hour. (£12.50 per hour direct payment personal budget in place but he is self-funding a top-up to the PA rates to £16 per hour)

No pets or smokers in the home. Driving licence not required. Holiday/sickness cover for the other PAs on the team. He has a Wightcare pendant.

The PA will need to/ have completed safeguarding modules on the learning hub.
