8 hours Friendly PA support Required for Gent (GF 86282) CB LKM

Experienced PA required for a very dear gentleman to help him build a trusting relationship to provide him with company and managing his daily tasks in and around his beloved home farm.

A large 8 hour slot every Saturday is now available to add to the help we already have.

He needs support with managing his medication, managing and maintaining nutrition and fluids throughout the day with all three healthy meals covered, prompts for maintaining personal care and hygiene, and prompts to be appropriately dressed.

He needs ongoing support with general cleaning and domestic tasks.

He would love some help with his horticultural hobbies, and his greenhouse, gardens, orchard and allotment areas, he thrives here when he’s encouraged.

He would welcome support in helping to care for his lone goose, with more poultry to be arriving in the Spring. This is something he really enjoys to do every day, it’s the first thing he thinks of and it makes him very happy, it generously helps with his mental health.

He may require company and access to the community as he sometimes enjoys a lunch outing, and at times would like to enjoy a cooked breakfast at home.

He does drive and can access the community if needed.

Every now and then he struggles with the time and is sometimes confused as to what time it is or even what day it is, and he requires gentle reminders when it’s time to do something, such as put the goose away after it’s been out grazing, or to eat and drink.

He is not overly incontinent but would benefit from regular toilet prompts due to occasional accidents.

He has mental health issues that are controlled by medication and can be discussed on appointment.

He has security cameras in place around his farm and two inside his home in the high traffic areas as he has sadly been a victim of crime, they are there for peace of mind alone and the ideal candidate should not mind.

We require 8 hours cover every Saturday in a solid block to meet his needs.
