3 hours support for a 60 year old lady in Newport – 342795 CD

This lady lives in Newport she shares her home with her adult son who is 26 years old.
She would like support for 3 hours per week, this can be broken down into smaller time slots and can be any day, can be flexible.
She has a diagnosis of EUPD, Schizophrenia and suffers from anxiety and depression and can experience low mood, hopelessness and paranoia. She needs to be able to build relationships with people to trust them. This lady also has a number of physical health needs which impact her mobility, she uses a walker in the home and a wheel chair when out in the community if it is a long distance.

It is preferable that the PA has some knowledge of mental health as this will support them in understanding her changing mood and how to recognise this. More information can be supplied upon request.

She has said, I require support to access the community:
- I would like to go out food shopping an collect my medication once a month
- I need support to access the community as I don’t feel confident enough to do this alone
- I need support to ensure my home environment remains clean as I am not physically capable to do all of this independently.

Hours per week – 3 to be in one block or split
Hourly rate – £11.95 per/hr
