Urgent PA Support Needed – St Helens, Ryde (305271 PAM)
We are urgently seeking Personal Assistant (PA) support for a gentleman currently in hospital awaiting discharge to his home in St Helens, Ryde.
About:
• Diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Parkinson’s, and dysphagia.
• Has a speech impediment, so requires time, patience, and understanding. Allowing time for him to answer questions is essential for his emotional wellbeing.
• Non-smoker.
Support Requirements:
• Personal care including showering, dressing, toileting, and nutritional needs.
• Medication management – Parkinson’s medications must be administered on time at 8am, 1pm, 6pm, and 10pm daily. Medication Certificate required
Call Details & Times:
• Morning 45 mins Personal care routine, shower, dressing, toileting, breakfast, and medication.
• Lunch 30 mins Nutritional support, toileting, and medication.
• Tea 30 mins Nutritional support, toileting, and medication.
• Evening 30 mins Assistance to bed, toileting, light personal care, nutritional needs, and medication.
Additional Notes:
• Must be patient and understanding due to speech and mobility challenges.
• Ensure areas are left clean and tidy after each visit.
Rate: £10 per 30 minutes
