Urgent PA Support Needed – Cowes Area (PAM 120878)

We are urgently seeking Personal Assistant (PA) support for a 92-year-old lady currently in hospital and awaiting discharge home in Cowes.
Support Requirements:
• 4 calls daily to assist with all aspects of daily living.
• Personal care including toileting, dressing, and bed changes (due to occasional night incontinence – pads worn).
• Meal preparation & shopping: Ensure nutritional needs are met, offer choices, leave fluids and snacks between calls.
• Medication: Oversee all medications – medication cert will be required.
• Companionship: Assist with feeding her cat
• Environment: Home is set up for downstairs living with profiling bed, commode, and Sara Steady in place.

Call Details & Times:

Morning 45min: Get up, toileting, dressing, bed change if needed, transfers using Sara Steady, provide breakfast and fluids.

Lunch: 30 min Toileting, light personal care, transfers, provide lunch and fluids.

Tea 30min: Toileting, light personal care, transfers, provide evening meal and fluids.

Evening 30min: Prepare for bed, toileting, dressing, transfers, feed cat, medications.

Additional Notes:
Female carers needed for personal care to promote dignity and respect.
Ensure areas are left clean and tidy after each visit.
Please check lighting before leaving (do not leave lights on all night).
Rate: £10 per 30 minutes

Driving licence: not required, all care to be provided in the home
