PA Support for lady in Sandown – 12 hours per week @ £13.45ph – 147762 CD

This lovely lady has been living with a diagnosis of mild dementia since 2021 and experiencing urine incontinence since 2010. She is unable to successfully manage the results of her incontinence and has started to hide her used pads, soiled clothing and bedding.
She is living with type 2 diabetes that is managed by insulin, delivered, and administered by the district nurse.

She enjoyed cooking but is unable to cook unsupported, due to her poor short term memory. She would love to have someone help her to cook again, safely. Her Husband manages the rest of the house, however, he does not cook, they eat snacks like pasta pots but she does not enjoy them. This means that she is not meeting her nutritional needs.
She currently has a PA who supports in the mornings and goes out daily with her husband. They like to go to cafes and garden centres to have some lunch.

Support Required:
PA required to support the lady to prepare an evening meal, offer a shower if needed, get ready for bed, brush teeth, change continence aids and settle for the evening. Ideally this would be 5pm – 7pm Monday to Saturday £13.45 per hour.

The couple also have a gorgeous cat and are non-smokers
