PA Support for Accessing the Community Wootton (86352)

PA support is required for a gentleman living in Wootton to support him to access the community safely and to support him to establish and maintain positive social relationships with support to understand social boundaries.

Once a PA is identified the gentleman will have the support of his support workers at Southern Housing to arrange his support hours.

Funding agreement is in place for this additional support.

Hourly PA rate - £11.95

A driving licence is not required as the gentleman enjoys travelling on public transport and he lives on a main bus route.

There are no pets in the home and as a supported living provision there is no smoking in the home.

Support Required
- 8 hours support per week
- Support is required to support him to access and identify activities he enjoys in the community.
- To support to establish and maintain appropriate peer relationships.
- To support with maintaining appropriate social boundaries (on buses, in public) to promote his wellbeing and safety alongside the safety of others.

The gentleman would like someone with a sense of humour, who he can have a laugh with.

He would like his support in the afternoon/evenings and at weekends but this is negotiable with the gentleman around his support and work hours that are currently in place.

The gentleman enjoys -
playing on his games console - he likes games about buses and trains, he likes to go out for meals, to cafe's, occasionally to the pub, to the bus museum.
