We recently have had my Mum living with us. She had a fall and spent time in St. Marys but is now home. She currently walks with a stick and is a little unsteady on her feet but hoping that this will improve. We are also seeking a Dementia diagnosis so there are a lot of repeated questions.

We re looking for a person who can sit with mum for a few hours at a time to keep her company so that we can leave the house. These are not set hours and are around time that we are able to go out and get some jobs done. They could be afternoons, the odd evening for a meal which could be weekdays or weekends. Mum hasn't left the house socially yet, only doctors visits, but we are hoping that this will change, possibly doubtful.

We are very new to this and are finding our feet as well as finding someone who gets on with my mum.
