My 39 year old son lives independently in a flat with a small garden at Pan, Newport. He is capable, but needs some extra help, and someone to motivate him and help develop his skills and confidence. He is a thoughtful and caring person, and fun to be with. He loves animals, particularly dogs and donkeys, but does not have any pets of his own.

If preferred the role could be carried out by 2 PAs with 6 hrs each. One supporting with flat and shopping. One supporting with social and leisure activities. Weekend support not required. Support is needed on an ongoing basis. Days and hours to be discussed, and some flexibility is possible. The ideal days/hours would be:

Monday (3 hours) - help with organising and cleaning flat.
Tuesday (3 hours) - help with planning healthy meals, making shopping list, budgeting, and going shoppping in Newport.
Wednesday or Friday (3 hours) - a new leisure or social activity. Possibly walking, accompanying to the gym or an animal related activity.
Thursday (5.30pm- 8.30pm) - accompanying to Riverside Thursday Club

My son has a rare genetic condition that is the likely cause of additional learning needs. No personal care needed. An agency already provides medication supervision each morning at 7.30am.
